I had a great morning in a few of my favourite op shops about a month ago, bagging a number of different glass pieces.

There are six Iittala glasses on the bottom left (picked up for $5);  two of them have tiny remnants of the original Iittala stickers on them.  Does anyone know what this pattern is though?  They are quite squat but perhaps not quite heavy enough to be whiskey tumblers.  I’ve done quite a lot of google image searches without any luck.

I also found two Holmegaard wine goblets (top, middle).  One of them has the original sticker – bagged for $1 each.  Again, fruitless searches for the pattern.  I also picked up two crystal egg cups made by Per Lutken for Holmegaard as part of the Morgen series (top shelf, right).  They are handmade so slightly different sizes.  They have the original boxes ($2 each).

Finally, three more teacups/saucers and cake plates from the Italora “Arno” series by Joe Colombo (as per this post: https://kellyetstein.wordpress.com/2014/02/28/joe-colombo-teacups/ ) that I’ve been collecting (all $1 each).

PS. The two heavy goblets on the top shelf, left hand side, were picked up at a fabulous crystal factory outlet store in the Lakes District in England (apparently they make the glass for the TV series – Downton Abbey).  They were five pounds each (some tiny little flaws) so a real bargain as perfect condition ones were 60 pounds each or something;  seriously lovely to hold.

Update:  Just discovered that the Iittala glasses are a 1963 design by Timo Sarpaneva called “Pisaranrengas” or a loose translation of “Teardrop Ring”.
